Must be a serious fuck-up to cause to stick Russia into every hole. For the sake of fairness, Russians did similar stuff too when the Soviet Union collapsed, mostly from rotting. --Resup (talk) 17:27, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Minneapolis riots

Autopsy report , Hennepin County medical examiner office

Videos

So far, 3 footage types, the knee; earlier arrest footage (Camera 2); redacted bodycam footage from another officer who was not much involved

Police bodycam footage shows moment-by-moment arrest of George Floyd for the first time - Daily Mail, August 3, 2020.

IMO, different overall impression --Resup (talk) 09:19, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

A claim is made that the body is collected by police. However, apparently Minnesota paramedics/EMS have similar uniforms and hats, thus the claim is not supported. There is apparently Paramedics written on top of the ambulance car, seen towards the end of the video. (+ note, a state trooper uniform here). (Noted, pulse being checked by the other-uniformed while the knee is still down...) --Resup (talk) 20:14, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

Who is the Umbrella Man?

Community organizers?

Somebody, apparently "pimping" the protesters, Twitter, May 31, 2020 (users offer some theories who the guy is, etc; original post claims this is ANTIFA; location, identity, etc disputed). --Resup (talk) 08:07, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

  • Facebook Removes Nearly 200 Accounts Tied to Hate Groups - NY Times, June 5, 2020
"Facebook has removed nearly 200 social media accounts linked to white supremacy groups that planned to encourage members to attend protests over police killings of black people — in some cases with weapons, company officials said Friday. The accounts on Facebook and Instagram were tied to the Proud Boys" (founded by Gavin McInnes) "and the American Guard"
The other accounts mentioned, in Tunisia and Kurdish Iraq, were targeting local population, according to Western reporting. Strangely Rusvesna presented this as if Tunisia and Iraq accounts were impersonating US citizens or media. Origin of this latter version is unclear, possibly sloppy translation propagating and reinterpreting. --Resup (talk) 13:46, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

"The Russians"

  • Randall Reynolds #Hillary2020, Twitter, June 1, 2020
ABC News reports that Bogdan Vechirko is the man who drove a big rig into the peaceful protestors in Minneapolis today. Here's a photo from his Facebook. Many of his friends are Russian. Link to his account: https://facebook.com/bogdan.vechirko
Noted: Bogdan Velichko is from Ukraine (as even some of the Twitter users point out), and apparently served in ATO against the pro-Russian rebels (many of his social media friends are said to be from the 25 and 95 brigades of UAF). The circumstances of the incident are presently unclear. Velichko was subsequently attacked by the protesters, and then arrested by the police. There are no reports of serious injuries/deaths at present time. --Resup (talk) 17:11, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

"Slips and Falls"

  • SLCPD Officer Pushes Elderly Man to the Ground - YouTube, May 31, 2020
  • WBFO, KimDotcom, video of a tall old man and police encounter, posted June 5, 2020 --Resup (talk) 20:31, 6 June 2020 (UTC) , investigation, suspension, walkouts. Mayor Byron Brown told CNN's Chris Cuomo on Friday night that he was told that emergency response team officers are trained to keep moving forward."Embedded with them are medics, officers with first-aid training," he said. "The medics were just behind the first line unit that continued to move forward, and within seconds, the medics rendered first-aid assistance."

Oregon

If those Oregon "green men" are there to protect peace (=anti-Maidan), I'd inclined to say that there is a basis for this, as police can deputize citizens to protect laws (posse comitatus). Unfortunately in Oregon this seems to be messed up, as it had historically some very right-wing "posse comitatus" crowd of some "no-goodnicks". --Resup (talk) 18:14, 18 July 2020 (UTC)

Austin shooting

  • Police press statement , a man is shot and killed in Austin, Texas, at approx. 9.52 pm , July 25, 2020, during BLM protest march, when he approached a suspect vehicle, possibly carrying a rifle. The suspect was detained and is cooperating with the police.
Austin video, at the end here (around 2:35:00+)
A woman at about 2:37:00+: a car drove up... we were taking the streets..and he shot Gare(th?)...Garet(h) is the (husband) of my nie(ce?), a (quadriplegic?), in a wheelchair...and he(?) (has been) a caretaker (for her?), like for 10 years !!!
Before the shooting, people were moving faster then traffic, all on the same street. We see camera moves past white truck, then red sedan, then full-size passenger car (streetcar/limo/cady) , then a dark (dark green?) sedan. The latter is stopped by traffic light, and we see its front. Then commotion starts, camera moves, and we see all of the dark sedan, now separated from other cars. Shots then start, behind the view. Dark sedan does not appear to be involved. We see people running from behind the view in the direction of the back of the dark car. We then loose the view of the scene. When we see something of use, red car is passing through the intersection. The view moves back along the street. We see a white truck which is not stopped (almost or fully). A dark SUV with police-style light signals, either police or other law enforcement, is overtaking it and moving towards the scene, stopping before it. Right after that, police on foot approach the scene. -- Resup (talk) 16:03, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

Storming of the US Capitol

According to witness account, towards the end here (PCR), the assault was not spontaneous and appears to be instigated by a few agitators with bullhorns.

"A number of police and secret service were saying 'get back, get down, get out of the way'. She didn't heed the call and as we kind of raced up to grab people and pull them back they shot her in the neck and she fell back on me.
"And she started to say 'it's fine, it's cool' and then she started kinda moving weird and blood was coming out of her mouth and neck and nose and I don't know if she's alive or dead any more."
