Talk:Joseph Mifsud

From A Closer Look On Syria

According to Roh and Pastor’s book, Mifsud believes he was set up, and that George Papadopoulos was part of the sting operation. Roh and Pastor think so, too. Papadopoulos’ wife, Simona Mangiante, dismissed the idea her husband was a spy in an Atlantic magazine article. Mangiante knew Mifsud as well. She reportedly started working for the Maltese academic at the London Center for International Law Practice in September 2016, before she met her future spouse. Lee Smith

The Roh and Pastor claim that it was Mifsud who was being set up doesnt really make sense. Mifsud knew Polonskaya wasnt Putin's niece. And what would have been the point of such an elaborate sting, trapping Mifsud by walking in to the trap Mifsud was setting? --Diagonal (talk) 11:41, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

John Solomon and co are of curious stock. Here both he and Hannity offer an opinion that Russians still did the hacking. In Solomon's case, because he saw some detailed FBI report. But so is the Mueller report. Basically, there seems to be a quarrel between the Democrats and Republicans on who is the worst. While the Russians or anybody else out there is just a tool in that internal struggle. I find this deeply irresponsible, as they are playing with safety and security of at least millions, possibly billions of people. If Russians did it, it would not come to me as a huge surprise. (Exactly, why not? Why to expect a higher standard from them than from anybody out there? --I would actually not be too surprised by the standard being a notch lower due to prior collapse and many present problems). --But if that's taken on, it needs to be proven, not just alleged and exploited with incredible number of lies in the mix. Because while this is all ongoing, nothing is getting solved, moneys keep going into even deadlier weapons, debts pile up, brainwashing reaches unsustainable levels, etc. And after all, what was published by somebody was not untrue, and revealed something that was wrong. --Resup (talk) 21:26, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

More of the same, here goes Nunes (video, text): "Russia colluded with the Democratic party. The Democrats colluded with Russian sources to develop the Steele dossier and Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya colluded with the dossier's key architect, Fusion GPS head Glenn Simpson." --Resup (talk) 08:10, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

Should we consolidate all the articles into a single section on the main page, and maybe leave a 'see also' Sergei Skripal ? --Diagonal (talk) 20:00, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
