From A Closer Look On Syria
Jump to navigation Jump to search

I'm pretty sure we've seen this singular truck before. Unless this is a tribute copy (it's actually possible, if someone had enough time on their hands) this should be the same truck sold by a Texas plumber to a dealership there and it somehow wound up in Syria, used by Deash/ISIS, I though. Let me check ... CBS news in December for example says it wound up with "the Ansar al-Deen Front, an Islamic extremist brigade seemingly comprised largely of Chechen fighters," mainly active around Aleppo. Okay then ... Urs cites that brigade in this attack, and one video has terrorists with clear Russian accents, speaking Russian, sounds like. They're part of this army of conquest. So nothing major, just a sighting. Side-note, CBS reported the plumbing company "employed an attorney and intend to pursue legal action to force Twitter to remove the photo from the Internet." If that had worked, I might be nervous about posting this still. :) --Caustic Logic (talk) 14:15, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
