Notes: the girl in purple also has purple lips. Finally cyanosis! But it comes with bleeding from the nose. That would be an irritant, and a harsh one, that also causes cyanosis. The woman also seems to have swollen lips (poss. unrelated) and possible white crud around the eyes. The girl in purple seems to have a dusty palm, like she died crawling in the dirt. But ... not a sign of that on her clothes. Possibly then there aren't their original clothes. Maybe the originals were bleached by chlorine or something? Just too ragged and smoke-stained to look like ordinary people ... who all seem to sleep fully-clothed. --Caustic Logic (talk) 10:06, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Also, blood from just the nose and not the mouth might be from a head wound (blood in the skull) rather than in the airways. We see this in two cases, both of which could have a hidden head wound bleeding on the blankets that we just can't see from this angle. --Caustic Logic (talk) 03:29, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
