Something happens at the White Helmets cave compound around 12:30 am. A bomb explodes. The first we hear about it is in this fake video by a Yaman Khateeb, who reports on it on his Facebook page at 13:39. It is unlikely that a bomb outside would affect the treatment room. Instead someone seems to light a flare in the room.

Bomb of flare?

I can't say I'm sure this is a flare and not related to the bombing. Or that is related and not a flare. I don't even know just where the blast(s) were relative to this room. (you might...) And it seems to roll people over a bit, more like an actual blast. But precedent says - if the general hospital bombing is a planned inside job (it's possible) - they could have one powerful bomb in the exterior building, and several little flash bombs everywhere a camera might be, all timed to go off at once. See Al-Quds hospital inside job for an example. If it were done the same way as that, we'd see a distinct flash of detonation, but a weak blast with lots of black smoke, and maybe a puff of smoke a split-second before the blast, and little damage afterwards. --Caustic Logic (talk) 10:05, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

I have not prepared a plan of the cave complex, but it might be possible using the videos. We know however that the treatment room is quite far from the entrance and should not have been affected by the blast outside. This photo shows the aftermath. Most importantly there is no bang on the video, only the hiss of a burning flare. -- Petri Krohn (talk) 10:29, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

Aleppo bus bombing

John Delacour‏ on Twitter points out the photographer seen on the Facebook video is also present at the site of the Aleppo bombing of the evacuee buses.

Amazing how these ‘heroes’ are always in the right place at the right time!

P.S. There is something on Veterans Today:

Note, that the Aleppo cameraman is seen taking video in the clip as seen on NBC Nightly News. The soundtrack is different. On the NBC version you can clearly hear a blast. This might be a result of the poor sound quality on the second generation video. Note, that there are three cameramen with DSLRs taking video of the bombing scene. There may be a fourth, fifth and sixth cameraman on this Aleppo Media Center video.

Actually the NBC News video is fake. It is put together from two clips, with maybe the sound of the explosion added afterwards. The screen goes black for a few frames. In that time the camera moves two meters backwards outside the treatment room. When it returns it shows the Aleppo cameraman taking video inside the room. The same scene is shown from the angle of another cameraman on the Aleppo Media Center video. The video however continues uninterrupted for 1 minute 36 seconds before the scene, meaning that the later part of the NBC clip was taken at least 1.5 minutes after the blast. How can we believe the NBC soundtrack is authentic? -- Petri Krohn (talk) 18:29, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

Urs has written a superlong diatribe about one of the usual suspects (and his circles), who also was on the ground doing selfies before the explosion. This guy, “Muawiyah Hassan Agah”, I guess you remember his rememberable face from other events like the White Helmets celebration of the Idlib "liberation".
More interesting info here - it appears that the guy who lured the kids with chips is known - nicknamed The Aleppo Cat -, and survived uninjured, and it wasn't that car which exploded, but a small blue pick-up truck with distinct white decals. The poster thinks it's the same one which is seen at 1:42 in this video report from Khan Sheikhoun. Fares Shehabi claims the suicide bomber was a certain Samer Kharita from Zabadani. Too busy to have taken a closer look right now, but maybe this event warrants its own page. --CE (talk) 20:04, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
The fucking W77 pickup! Did I not just post a screenshot of it? Yes, here!
P.S. - Holy Moses! I looked through the Urs blog. These guys deserve the Nobel fucking Peace Prize!!!! -- Petri Krohn (talk) 20:27, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
Now there's a connection. --CE (talk) 22:09, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
The Khan Sheikhoun truck is missing two side rails/gates on either side of the the tray and has a solid headboard Comparison images -- Charles Wood (talk) 02:37, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Good observation, but I don't think that can lead to the conclusion that it isn't the same truck, as it's in the nature of things like such a cage that they can be mounted on and off with a few screws. The white decals on the side windows seem to be quite fitting in both occurances and likely not part of the original design. --CE (talk) 19:44, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Christiaan Triebert has looked into the W77 mystery. So far just a collection of evidence without conclusions. --CE (talk) 17:37, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure the 'flag' on the side is a removable Hazmat placard for use when ferrying gas supplies. Red = Fuel, Yellow = Oxygen, Green = non-flammable. See Placard colors Just what you need when ferrying gas welding equipment e.g. Acetylene, Oxygen, and Argon. <insert CW Sig here>
Huyndai Porter was first introduced in 1977, sometimes anniversary editions of cars are made special; unsure it's the case here and related to W77; but no better explanation occur. Clicked some photos, without much luck. But on different vehicles, and if painted, not factory-made--that would not work then. --Resup (talk) 14:47, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
