ZERO SURVIVORS!

A White Helmets member marks a building in Khan Sheikhoun with spray paint after checking it for victims or survivors of the sarin gas attack. As in any urban search and rescue operation, the White Helmets have to go through each house to check if there are any occupants in need of help or any bodies to be recovered. Unfortunately all the occupants of this building were dead; 22 family members in total, all killed by Assad's gas attack.

Most of the victims in Khan Sheikhoun were found in their beds. The sarin gas attack happened at 6 am in the morning, when most people in the town were still sleeping.
