Welcome to A Closer Look On Syria research wiki, Resup. See our Community portal for instructions on how to contribute. Among other things you'll find an explanation for our Sign-Up and Speak-Up Policy there. Due to a large amount of bots signing on, we ask new accounts to write a word or two rather sooner than later to show that they are a human being. You can do so here or if you have already something to contribute in mind, you're welcome to go right ahead. --Caustic Logic (talk) 12:04, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

Note: typing Resup alone doesn't cut it, yet. You have a reason to be here, show it's compatible with our mission (on-topic talk and such). If so, thanks, and welcome! --Caustic Logic (talk) 12:06, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi! --Resup (talk) 21:35, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
Sup, Resup! --CE (talk) 21:53, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

Resup, I reverted your deletion of content. Please make yourself familiar with the rules here. I consider what you did to be vandalism and there will only be one warning. --CE (talk) 21:32, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Incidentally, sorry if I cam across harshly or accusatory - feel free to add to this with your thoughts or complaints, just don't replace it. --Caustic Logic (talk) 22:53, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Hello Resup. You are putting good things, but I only find them by accident. Please always fill out the Summary line at the bottom of the text box. That makes it show up in the Watchlist, so everyone can see what new information has been posted. Thanks KatKan (talk) 06:06, 30 August 2014 (UTC)

videos

Resup, a few days ago you posted a site with more than 2000 videos. Can you please see if they have an index of the videos? and if so, try to pick out a few for various towns? there are many places we have no records for at all. it would be lovely if you could find a local video fro the smaller places. Thank, if you are able to do this.(I can't do it, I don't read Russian). KatKan (talk) 22:58, 7 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I tried to put some videos in Talk:Ukraine_war_casualties#News_on_casualties If anything else needed, please let me know. --Resup (talk) 16:51, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

Email?

Resup, I need to discus something privately. Could you please provide a email address. The best thing would be if you registered your email here at the ACLOS site so that Special:EmailUser/Resup would start working. This way your email address would remain secret. I am at Special:EmailUser/Petri_Krohn

New request for e-mail contact, hi. Translation request. I already sent an e-mail to the address I have on file (is it current?) --Caustic Logic (talk) 10:41, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

Surprises

Till Lindemann (Rammstein soloist, hard/metal, German, popular in some circles in Russia, Ukrainian partner Loboda) gives a (very) good but surprising cover of WW2 era goodies-oldies classic Mark Bernes song, in Russian, "Dear town can sleep calmly", over footage from a new film Devyataev, to do with a Russian war pilot and escaping from Germany prisoner of war, with Lindemann's video placing him in the pilot seat of (apparently) US-made Soviet (Red) Army warplane --Resup (talk) 11:59, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

Anniversaries

Chernobyl, 26 April, 1986: "Waves", by "Houses are Silent" and Ukrainian drone footage from the exclusion zone --Resup (talk) 23:06, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
