Talk:Sergei Skripal
As regards motives for an attack on Skripal, I guess we dont know if his prior dealings and work are relevent or whether he was just an expendable asset for propaganda purposes. As suggested here https://orientalreview.org/2018/03/12/fatal-quad-who-is-assassinating-former-mi6-assets-on-british-soil/
The London Economic said "A source close to Skripal has said he was investigating the collusion between the Internet Research Agency, AIQ, Cambridge Analytica and its parent company, SCL."
Probably a half truth at best.. Do we know of any other source to corroborate that independently?
Orbis and SCL are both privatised British intel but, so what? --Diagonal (talk) 19:47, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
Was this part of a feud between competing british intel companies (over the lucrative field of behaviour change/influence campaigns and the US election and others). Killing two birds with one stone it could be used as ammunition in demonising Putin as a convenient cover story..? --Diagonal (talk) 11:22, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Privatised British intel operations linked to influencing the 2016 US election/Russiagate:
- Cambridge Analytica SCL (Worked for Trump)
- Hakluyt and Company aka Holdingham (Worked for Clinton) Kit klarenberg on Hakluyt infiltration ops Also Tom Coburg on Hakluyt/Holdingham and Skripal affair
- Orbis Business Intelligence (Worked for Clinton)
