Malnutrition deaths

I guess this topic was discussed somewhere else, but I cannot find the place.

The US has urged the Syrian government to allow immediate aid convoys to starving civilians cut off in rebel-held suburbs of Damascus.
Washington said the army's months-long siege left many people in desperate need of food, water and medicine.
It also cited "unprecedented reports" of children dying of malnutrition just a few kilometres from President Bashar al-Assad palace.

Thanks for this. "Unprecedented" starving of children only, what causes that? The grip of Islamo-nihilists is also new/unprecedented. Assad's palace is not new. So putting the new things together... Don't worry where, I have the other stuff saved and pulled together for a page I'll start I think today. Other news: religious fatwa proves the starvation by allowing people to eat cats, dogs, and donkeys - but not yet dead humans - if they need to. (it is Eid and you're supposed to have some meat, and after all meat is meat) --Caustic Logic (talk) 23:40, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

Moved to: Starving Children in Moadamiyeh#World Reaction (admittedly treated like a talk page despite being a main page ... oops) --Caustic Logic (talk) 09:11, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
