- In an email to The New York Times, Mr. Gebrev acknowledged that he was storing ammunition at the Czech arms depot and admitted something that he had long denied: that his company, Emco, had shipped military equipment to Ukraine after 2014, when separatists backed by the Russian military and intelligence services started a war with Ukrainian forces.
- ("The war" was started de-jure by Turchinov's "anti-terrorist operation" (ATO) announcement, April 7, 2014, and de-facto after Poroshenko was elected on May 25, 2014; after the election, Ukrainian forces started systematic shelling and siege of Slavyansk. Prior to ATO, it was Maidan and counter - Maidan).

- Doubts
- In the footsteps of the adventures of Petrov and Boshirov: mysterious passports - Rusvesna, April 23, 2021
- Unclearly stated whether Russian passports or pictured passports were used; either way, visa would be required, for both. It is asserted that Moldovan ID number does not exist according to publicly available information (and further, it is not an ID of a deceased person); while that would be easy to acquire a genuine Moldovan passport.
- authors make a video to show old passports not allowing for visa free travel; and a video showing them verifying ID number on Moldova government info portal. They did it prior to making their claims, and say, they now remember the number. Great, but unfortunately they make a typo. They show checking number 200205010335 ; the number Czechs show is 2002025010335. Result is as they said, Acest cod personal exista Nu, Persona este in viata Nu. But there is /appears to be a typo (unless there is some magic rule to omit the 6th digit). And they said that ID is 13 digit themselves, but they videoed a 12 digit number.
- Denials

- Explosions
It is claimed that first explosion affected warehouse storing 50 tons of explosives, the second 100 tons (according to Wikipedia, with sources of those numbers unclear), and that there were some 7,000 tons of ammo in total in the area
- Outcomes
Russia's Rosatom is excluded from a nuclear power station tender. Russian vaccine will not be acquired. Diplomatic row with multiple diplomats expelled on both sides (on-going).
