From A Closer Look On Syria

Here's a VERY interesting news item. Should be treated as rumour and kept low profile ATM, maybe. --CE (talk) 20:04, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

The photo is apparently from 2011. News item is now in many places in nearly identical form ...The one at South Front seems to originate in Bosnia(n)... --Resup (talk) 01:53, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

Déjà vu

One of the many macabre oddities we came across in our investigation of massacres in Libya was the twisted body of an Ukrainian sniper stuffed in "Gaddafi's" freezer.

In part two the sniper returns to a freezer at the Donetsk International Airport.

I wonder if he was flown in? -- Petri Krohn (talk) 01:04, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

Covered with image in this later post. I can't view this properly at the moment (green screen, sounds routine, will fix later) but it seems by preview to be just similar. Interesting parallel though. Black boots vs. white, bigger freezer, etc. Also the title translated says this victim is a "dead cyborg," not a claim for the other Ukie military member killed in Libya. --Caustic Logic (talk) 09:07, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
I did not mean it was physically the same sniper. I just mean that God has reserved a special fate for Ukrainians. (Besides, there are two bodies in the Donetsk freezer.) --Petri Krohn (talk)13:04, 14 December 2014 (UTC)

Swedish disinformation attack

  • Sveriges hemliga propagandasoldater (Sweden's secret propaganda soldiers) - Claes Lönegård, Focus, May 22, 2012
They are trained in the US and were along overthrowing Gaddafi. Here is the story of the Swedish Armed Forces' latest weapon.
Commando Solo. The US Air Force's purpose-built Hercules planes for psychological operations. From here, Swedish-produced radio messages were aired all ower Libya.
Interesting that it's from the plane, may be more expensive, though easier reach and ability to react to things on the ground... Propaganda brought the USSR down, so this may be effective... but not twice .... --Resup (talk) 14:24, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
