Prior Strike on Al Ahli and Evacuation Warnings

The Diagnostic Cancer Treatment Centre of al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza has been hit by an Israeli rocket. Two upper floors of the centre, which houses the ultrasound and mammography wards, were severely damaged...The strike on al-Ahli Arab hospital happened at 7.30 pm EEST (4.30 pm GMT) on Saturday 14 October. Four hospital staff were injured in the blast and are receiving treatment for their wounds... The Archbishop of Canterbury, Archbishop Justin Welby, has spoken of the “grave danger” facing hospitals in Gaza, and he called for the Israeli evacuation order in place for northern Gaza to be rescinded for hospitals in the region. “The seriously ill and injured patients at the Anglican-run Ahli Hospital – and other healthcare facilities in northern Gaza – cannot be safely evacuated”, he said.

Tweet was withdrawn, with explanation that it was mistakenly shared false report by Reuters. It was reported that at the time of the tweet Naftali was a freelancer not authorized to speak for the Israeli gov. He later recorded a video in support of the IDF version of events

    The IDF on Saturday night said that it has detected 550 failed rocket launches and misfires since the beginning of the Gaza war. “The terrorist organisation Hamas uses the residents of the Gaza Strip as human shields and fires from civilian infrastructure. Since the beginning of the fighting, the IDF has detected about 550 failed launches fired from the Gaza Strip,” it said.
    The Israeli military also released footage of rocket barrages being launched from Gaza, in which several rockets could be seen crashing into the Gaza Strip
